摘要
This review, identifies the risk factors for depression among elderly community subjects and explores the feasibility and effectiveness of brief preventive interventions. The review process involved a systematic selection of articles on each topic, an assessment of validity, the abstraction of data, and the examination of results. The review is presented in two parts (risk factors for depression and brief preventive interventions) and is followed by an overall discussion of the findings and proposals for a research agenda.
