摘要
We study the factorization scheme dependence of the next-to-leading order inclusive one jet cross section d sigma/dE(T). The scheme is Varied parametrically along the direction that transforms the MS scheme to the DIS scheme: we introduce a parameter lambda such that lambda=0 is <(MS)over bar> and lambda=1 is DIS. The factorization scale mu is also varied. We observe a change of +/-9% in the cross section for E-T = 50 GeV when mu and lambda are varied in the range -2 less than or equal to lambda less than or equal to 2, E-T/8 less than or equal to mu less than or equal to 2E(T). This grows to +/-32% for E-T=400 GeV.
