Research on Technology Empowerment in Digital Transformation of Library in Information Age

This paper analyzed and interpreted the trends of library development and sorted out various manifestations of the transformation process of technology-driven libraries under the digital era. Meanwhile, it also explored the application of digital empowerment during the digitization process of those libraries: analysis empowerment, connection empowerment, and intelligence empowerment. Data is the core of information technology. This paper discussed how to escalate the service of libraries and transform their development directions by using the above three indexes. It said that the focus of library service should move from "objects" to "people" through the digitization process. It shall push back the boundaries of physical space and experiences of a library, which might provide some references for the future of library development research.
