摘要
This paper presents the application of Self-Adaptive Differential Evolution (SADE) to tuning the parameters of power system Stabilizer (PSS). In order for the PSS to be robust with respect to system uncertainties, several operating conditions are taken into consideration during the design. The designed PSS based on SADE (SADE-PSS) is compared with that designed using the Classical Differential Evolution (DE). Frequency and time domain simulations based on small and large disturbances are presented to show the effectiveness of SADE-PSS. It is shown that under small and large disturbances, SADE-PSS provides better damping than both DE-PSS for the cases investigated.
