摘要
Polyaniline:nylon-6,6 composites were prepared by polymerizing doubly distilled aniline mixed with nylon-6,6 solution in formic acid using potassium persulphate at 0 degrees C. The composite materials were characterized by FTIR as well as for the electrical properties. The thereto-oxidative degradation was studied by TGA. The stability in terms of do electrical conductivity retention of the HC1 doped composites was studied under ambient conditions by two slightly different techniques. The do electrical conductivity with respect to the time of accelerated aging showed that the do electrical conductivity is quite stable at 50, 70 and 90 degrees C similar to the observations from the TGA studies suggesting the use of composites in electrical and electronic applications below 90 degrees C.
