摘要
The square pulse is conventionally used as a baseband signal in the digital communication systems. However, the square pulse has a lot of high-frequency components which can induce many problems. Therefore, half-sinusoid pulse has been proposed to solve this problem. As a result, the side lobes fall off more rapidly. However, the high-frequency components mentioned above still remains. Thus, the new quartic pulse is proposed to reduce more high-frequency components in this paper.
