Pseudomonas lucola is rarely implicated in clinical infections, usually in association with indwelling catheters or prostheses. This report describes the first case of deteriorated leg ulcer caused by a multiply antibiotic resistant P. luteola strain in a patient with homozygous sickle cell disease.
