摘要
Learner-centered approach has been emphasized a lot in the field of English language teaching in China. However, it still remains as a prevailing problem that many EFL students are neither motivated nor engaged, which results from the fact that the students' individual learning styles are not fully considered. Learning styles can play an important role in the improvement of learner-centered learning in EFL class in China in that it helps to identify the needs of learners with a variety of learning styles, and on this account gives guidance for selecting suitable learning material, arranging effective learning activities and diversifying learning platforms.
