Near ground wideband channel measurement in 800-1000 MHz

摘要
Frequency domain channel propagation measurements in the 800-1000 MHz band have been performed with ground-lying antennas. The range of path-loss exponent and shadowing variance for indoor and outdoor environment were determined. The range of these values roughly agree with those measured for higher elevation antennas. Frequency selectivity of the RF channel was also characterized by means of determining average coherence bandwidth (CBW). It was observed that there is a relationship between CBW and distance between transmitting and receiving antennas.
