From 1.0 to 3.0: the journey of Paleography in the digital world

Web browsing has become a common activity in today's society, being a direct reflex of the scenario in which computer technology is constantly advancing, enabling the establishment of actual networks for the exchange of information, knowledge and culture. The work presented here is an overview of the impact of this technology on the studies of Paleography, with regards to understanding the imbrications of the presence of computers and the web within paleographical practices. For this purpose, the evolutionary stages of the web and their reverberation for users are arranged, constituting what, consequently, is reproduced in the ways of doing Paleography, as well as publishing works in the field.
