摘要：

Applying information technology in industry has been an irreversible trend now. Based on information technology, civil engineering industry is experiencing revolutionary progress in management level and construction technology. This paper mainly focuses on the significance and some key elements for building the information system in civil engineering and gives a brief series of suggestions, wishing to help establish an efficient and transparent industry, further seeking highest operation efficiency and maximum economic profits.
