摘要
In many countries, there is a distinction between the appreciation of the role of entrepreneurship education program in fostering entrepreneurial spirit and its role in giving practical competencies that enable graduates to run their own businesses. Hence, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education program in Malaysian public universities. Our study involves of 320 final year students in Bachelor of Entrepreneurship program in six public universities in Malaysia (IPTA). The result from our study shows that the entrepreneurship education program which have been offered by this Malaysian public universities are very effective in enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of students. Thus, our research findings may give significant contributions to the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education to improve the education policy in the future, and universities and other higher education institutions are ideally placed to expose students to environments which foster the entrepreneurial skills.
