摘要
The paper is based on the fundamental premise that the new paradigm of e-maintenance is to provide enterprises with competitive advantage by enhancing collaboration within e-maintenance and between e-maintenance and e-logistics via Web and improving customer service. The research methodology contents a review of modern maintenance and operations management literature, especially the prestigious academic journals and proceedings mostly for the period 2005-2010 with the objective to collect and syntethize the knowledge relating to e-maintenance and e-logistics. The findings show that TELMA and PROTEUS platforms have functionalities according to basic e-maintenance requirements, but Life Cycle Integration framework has properties which are in fully compatibility with the improved e-maintenance philosophy. The paper could be usefull for researchers and practitioners in the emerging fields of virtual maintenance.
