Impact of External Learning and Organizational Capability on Radical Innovation

摘要
This paper applies external learning, organizational capability and radical innovation, presents a conceptual model and its relevant hypotheses. On analyzing the effective sample data from 412 enterprises of different industries across ten provinces and cities in China, the empirical result reveals that external learning is in favor of enterprises to cultivate dynamic capability but disfavor of them to improve the existing operational capability, dynamic capability is evidently a positive correlation with radical innovation, while operational capability is a negative correlation with radical innovation.. This reflects that enhancing dynamic capability through external learning is beneficial to radical innovation.
