摘要
The Switched Reluctance Motor has become a competitor to Induction motor and Permanent Magnet motors in variable speed control operations as it has advantages like constructional simplicity, high speed operation, no magnets or windings on the rotor, adaptablity to hostile conditions etc. But it has limited applications due to high torque ripples, vibrations and noise. The torque ripples can be reduced with an advanced technique named Direct Instantaneous Torque Control. This paper presents the comparative analysis of Switched Reluctance Motor with conventional Hysteresis Current Control and Direct Instantaneous Torque Control mainly in terms of torque ripple. MATLAB/ SIMULINK simulation results are presented for two control strategies.
