摘要
Two-phase flow can be found in natural phenomena and many engineering applications. However, accurate prediction is difficult due to the complexity of the interactions between the phases. Specifically, the two-fluid equation, which is appropriate for numerical simulation of two-phase flow in a large fluid system, includes many modeling terms. This paper suggests proper physical models for numerical simulations of air-water turbulent bubbly flows in a horizontal pipe using the two-fluid equation. Seven experimental data were tested to find interphase momentum transfer models. The physical models suggested in this paper will be useful for two-phase flow prediction in horizontal pipes.
