AC Voltage Regulators with Switched Capacitors

摘要
In the paper a new type of AC voltage regulators with switched capacitors is proposed. Main factor in developing of new converters became reduction of number, either semiconductor switches or reactive elements. Considered converters are buck-boost with sinusoidal input and output currents. These converters are characterized by lower value of specified capacitors reactive power and great control range. Analytical calculation of main energy characteristics using the author direct method of calculating is presented. Results of simulation with PSIM program are analyzed.
