摘要：

The properties of urea-formaldehyde plastic foams can be modified using an impregnant containing the solutions of shale phenols and Thiokol in furfural and ethanol. As compared with the starting material, the strength of the impregnated plastic foams increased by an order of magnitude and the water uptake decreased by a factor of 5.
