摘要
UHF Passive radar has attracted widespread attention and application in recent years. When passive radars are placed on shores for sea surface targets and low-altitude targets surveillance, target echoes are inevitably affected by sea clutter. In order to eliminate the impact of sea clutter on target detection, and also to explore the potential of UHF passive radar for sea surface remote sensing, it is necessary to research the characteristics of sea clutter. For these purposes, this paper verifies the feasibility of UHF passive radar to detect sea clutter in experimental research. The sea clutter detection experiment was carried out in Lianyungang, China, using the UHF digitally multi-channel passive bistatic radar system developed by Wuhan University. Finally, we successfully observed the Bragg peaks using the UHF passive radar system.
