摘要：
In this paper we obtain the solitary wave of the Cauchy problem for a class of nonlinear Boussinesq equations. The strong instability of the solitary wave is proved by constructing a functional of the solution and establishing the invariant regions. Furthermore, an improved blow-up result related to the solitary-wave solution is also obtained. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
