摘要
We have carried out a complete analysis of the recently proposed thermoelectric SQUID method for non-destructive material characterization. The magnetic fields generated by thermoelectric currents in conducting specimens with different material flaws were calculated using a finite element computation technique. It is demonstrated that simulated first and second derivatives of the normal component of the magnetic field can be obtained for arbitrary shapes of the defects and compared with experimental signals usually measured by axial gradiometers.
