摘要
The aim of the study was to examine the respondents' knowledge of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the benefits of CSR implementation in DB Schenker and to identify the reasons and types of socially responsible activities undertaken by this logistics company. The article uses primary and secondary sources and refers to the literature on the subject. The study shows that the vast majority of DB Schenker employees were familiar with the concept of CSR, but their understanding of it was different. Younger workers identified corporate social responsibility with actions by companies towards society and the environment. The older employees defined CSR mainly as transparency and legal compliance in business operations. According to the respondents, DB Schenker takes socially responsible actions in the following areas: towards the local community (88.2%), the environment (74.1%), the employees (51.8%), and the market (28.2 %).
