Electromagnetic properties in ferroelectric materials.

摘要
The recent development of network analyzers has allowed electromagnetic property studies in perovskite-type ferroelectric materials in a large frequency range (similar to 10(2)-10(10)Hz). A high frequency (similar to 10(7)-10(10)Hz) relaxation has been evidenced. The origin of the relaxation process has been determined: it is an intrinsic mechanism directly related to the crystal lattice. In the light of the obtained results, physical-chemistry laws can be used to modulate the relaxation frequency using appropriate ionic substitutions.
