摘要
Even when most software products' size needs the use of a work team to develop them, there are projects of small size that make them suitable for a single developer, who requires delivering products of high quality and minimizing failure. Those problems could be solved using Software Engineering practices. However, most of those practices are designed to satisfy projects requiring teamwork, and its adaption to single developer context is determined by developer's experience and skills. On the other hand, the Initial Software Development Method, (MIDS as in Spanish Metodo Inicial de Desarrollo de Software), was developed to train novice software engineers in software development, project management and teamwork practices. This method was adapted to a single developer context. Results show that MIDS can be easily adapted to be used in single developer contexts, without changing its essence.
