摘要
This paper concerns modeling and simulation of in-patient movements in hospitals. It provides a formalized view of in-patient departments, their structure and rules of patient movements. Computer representation of the formalized view is implemented in super-object oriented SIMULA language to make a simulation program, which can be used not only during the design of in-patient department systems but also during their operation for making short-time decisions.
