Propagation of Electromagnetic waves on a Relativistically moving non-uniform plasma with WKBmethod

摘要
Propagation properties of Electromagnetic wave (EMW) in a moving non-uniform plasma are firstly introduced theoretically in this investigation, the non-uniform plasma density of parabolic profile are taken. By analyzing relativistic model, the incident frequency and incident angle of the EMW in a moving plasma are discussed in detail. Five parameters are presented by utilizing Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation method in a moving plasma, the influences of these five parameters are the same no matter the plasma is stationary or moving. Results indicate there exist two interesting features concerning the incident angle of the EMW.
