摘要
This study presents the concept of the Industrial Metaverse for smart manufacturing systems. In the man-ufacturing domain, the Industrial Metaverse's purpose would be to speed up processes like repairs/main-tenance, starting new manufacturing lines, remote monitoring/troubleshooting, remote control, and new user/manager training through simulation. Metaverse technology adds immersive experience to the con-figuration layer of cyber-physical systems and is considered the digital twin of a workspace. The concept presented in this work is a stepping stone for researchers looking to extend the application of the Industrial Metaverse into manufacturing.
