Cognitive analytical therapy in the treatment of anorexia nervosa

摘要：
The aim of this payer is to review the place of outpatient treatment in the management of anorexia nervosa. The theoretical background of one short form of psychotherapy, used in two randomized trials of outpatient therapy, is introduced. The practical application of this form of therapy, cognitive analytical therapy (CAT), is illustrated br its use in a case of severe anorexia nervosa. Finally, modifications of standard CAT for use in anorexia nervosa are discussed. ((C) 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.)
