Incidental detection of a single brain metastasis from breast carcinoma during Tc-99m MIBI scintimammography

摘要
Tc-99m methoxyisobutylisonitrile (MIBI) scintimammography was performed in a patient with a recurrent mass in the breast after surgery for infiltrating duct carcinoma. Imaging showed multiple foci of recurrence in the breast and a single asymptomatic metastasis in the brain, which also accumulated Tc-99m glucoheptonate (GHA).
