In the article the author's idea is stated that the universal foundations, preceding any experience and completely independent of it, advanced and substantiated by I. Kant and named by him a priori, present the greatest difficulties for the explanation of their origin because they are usually considered in the framework of the theory of knowledge. In the doctrines of cognition, have always proceeded from an understanding of whole thinking only as a cognitive process, where the necessity of reflection the object of cognition predominates. According to the author, whole thinking is the creation of images of what is desirable to the subject and what else is not there in reality. Cognition, that is, reflection is included in creativity as a part. In creation of an image of the desired object does not oppose to the subject, there is no experience whatsoever and the process is entirely pre-experienced, a priori. The discovery of this belongs to I. Kant.
