摘要：
Constructing a sports power is the set object of China. On the basis of the present condition, this paper is to clarify the connotation of a sports power, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the national sports system of competitive sports with regard to the transformation from a big country of sports to a sports power. Then it puts forward some concepts in constructing a sports power, including deepening the sports system reform, improving the national sports system, stressing school psychical education, and promoting the coordinated development of competitive sports and mass sports so as to improve the soft power in sports.
