A high capacity image hiding scheme for binary images

摘要
This paper presents a new image hiding method that embeds a binary image into another host binary image. The method ensures that a 3 x 3 secret image block can be hidden in a selected host image block by manipulating at most two bits of the block. Therefore, the proposed method offers a very good hiding capacity. To maintain the quality of the host image after hiding, the method defines a function to measure the hiding effect of each selected block. By comparing the return value of this function and a predefined threshold value, the method has the ability to choose the best block to embed the secret data. Thus, the visual effect of the image after hiding is quite similar to the host image.
