摘要
With the aim of examining the metal-assisted rearrangement behaviors of 2,2'-pyridil (L), its reactions with M(ClO4)(2)(.)6H(2)O (M = Co-II, Ni-II and Cu-II) were considered. X-ray diffraction analyses of the products reveal the formation of complexes containing 2,2'-pyridilate anion (L-1) or picolinate anion (L-2) as arrangement products of 2,2'-pyridil, induced by different metal ions. [Co-III(L-1)(2)](ClO4)(CH3OH)-C-. (1) and [Ni-II(L-1)(2)](.)2H(2)O (2) have similar mononuclear structures, and it should be noted that the Co-II ion is unstable to oxidation in this process. However, [Cu-II(L-2)(2)](.)2H(2)O (3) forms a one-dimensional linear complex via Cu-O weak interactions. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
