摘要
A modified Monte Carlo method has been used to simulate the impact of texture on grain boundary character distribution (GBCD) in this study. Polycrystals with random orientations and various texture intensities defined by fraction of Goss orientation initial microstructures were generated. Real grain orientations in Euler space were incorporated into our model and swap method were used to generate texture cluster to explore the effects on GBCD. It was found that the initial microstructure with texture cluster has a steadier GBCD than microstructure without texture. Distribution of grain boundary at triple junction was also analysed to evaluate materials susceptibility to crack propagation. Statistic shows that more special boundaries exist at triple junction with improved texture intensity. The significant increasing of Sigma 17b boundary was also found when strengthening texture intensity.
