摘要
A SEPIC converter is also called as single ended primary inductor converter. It is based on the multi input dcdc converter. It provides positive polarity of output voltage which equal to the polarity of input voltage but the output voltage may be or may not be equated the input. It works like a buck, boost or buck-boost converter which mean it can step up the voltage as like boost converter and it can step down the voltage as like buck converter. The polarity of output voltage cannot be change for step up and step down capability of a converter and a series capacitor is used to couple energy from the input to its output. By using bi-directional port along with the input an battery storage system can also be connected to it. Due to buck-boost characteristic of the SEPIC converter it can charge and discharge energy storing system. According to the energy storing system charging condition it operate in two operational mode those are steady state mode and dynamic mode.
