摘要
Separation/enrichment of cells from heterogeneous mixtures, such as rare, or not so rare, nucleated cells in human blood, is a common laboratory process. Beyond density based separations, one the most common approaches is the use of antibodies conjugated to magnetic particles. In this report, a commonly used, commercially available, relatively simple, semi-batch system, Miltenyi Biotec MACS (TM) family of separation systems, is presented and its performance discussed.
