摘要
Nanosized tin dioxide with an average particle size 5-6 nm and specific surface area 110 m(2)/g was obtained by a sol-gel technique using SnC2O4 as a precursor. Study of the temperature dependences of responses to hydrogen of the sensors created on the base of the synthesized nanosized SnO2 with different content of carboxymethyl cellulose allow to found the optimal composition of the semiconductor paste applying to the sensor plates. Palladium containing sensor material on the base of the optimal composition paste was formed to create the sensor for detection methane in air. The sensor with palladium additive possess a high response to CH4 in air and a fast response time. The sensor can measure methane in air in a wide range of its concentration (20 - 937 ppm). Synthesized nanomaterials are perspective to use them as gas sensitive layers of the semiconductor sensors purposed to determine toxic and combustible gases in air.
