摘要
The problem of a charge drift caused by a tangent component of the vector of electric field created by the charge on a moving web is discussed in the paper. It was shown that the local charge storage process which can appear in the vicinity of low potential regions (under the fieldmeter) can substantially change the measured value of effective surface charge density or resulting electric field. Intensity of the phenomenon depends on the web linear velocity as well as on the resistivity of the web material and geometry of the whole electrostatic system.
