摘要
As the second largest river in China, the Yellow River is the most complicated and hardest to harness in the world, its management and development has always been attaching high importance by Chinese government all through the ages and even attracting worldwide attention. With the sustained development of economy and society in the Yellow River basin, the issues such as great flood, lower flow, river pollution, high sediment content and so on are more and more standing out in the Yellow River. As a "scout" for river management, the Yellow River hydrological career provides powerful supports for the whole Yellow River administration, nowadays how to master new challenges and develop new trait of thoughts under die brand - new situation is relate to whether or not realize prosperously striding development and modernization of the Yellow River hydrology.
