Numerical Simulation and Analysis of Water-cooled Radiator Performance for Traction Converter

摘要
The paper adopts two different simulation models to give a research on the performance measurement of water-cooled radiators. One simulation model is water-cooled radiator with simulation heating blocks; the other simulation model is water-cooled radiator with IGBT power components. The results based on these two models show that it exists big difference on the temperature and pressure distribution. The two heating system is not equal. At the same time, this paper also does some research on the influence relationship of parameters to temperature and pressure distribution, including flow rate, cooling medium and power loss. The research methods and results elaborated in this paper can provide reference for the water-cooled radiator design.
