摘要
The main objective of this study was to analyze the impact of the scientific production in Psychology in Paraguay 2006-2016 through bibliometric indicators. The research scope was descriptive, using quantitative content analysis of the scientific production recovered from the databases Web of Science and EBSCOhost. Results indicated that the Paraguayan psychological production is the third area with 6,458%, and the preferred publication language is Spanish with 96%. The journal with the most publications (42%) is Paraguayan, Eureka Journal of Psychology. Only three articles have been published in journals with impact factors (Q3 and Q4). We highlight the dispersion of the journals where articles are published. The most productive areas (according to Garcia's model, 2012) are History of Psychology with 40%, Mental Health with 23% and Psychological Assessment with 14%.
