摘要
In this study, we propose a low cost tire tread depth detector, with CMOS camera and line laser. In this device, it provides a routine tire condition monitoring, and could potentially predict when the tires might need to be replaced, giving the consumer advanced notice. In the result, we measure 32 tires with linear model calibration, only 0.5 mm error in this system.
