摘要
The present work aims to estimate the impact of the operation of the Sewage Treatment Plant on the distribution of dissolved oxygen (DO) and nutrients in the Saronikos Gulf, taking into account the results of the measurements in 1992 (before operation of the S.T.P.) and in 1995 (after the full operation of the S.T.P.). The results show that there is a quite significant impact in the deeper than 50 m layers of the eastern part of the Gulf, during the warm period in 1995 and in the deeper than 100 m layers of the western part, during all the sampling period 1995.
