摘要
Complex manufacturing processes and airframe assembly among them become more widely supplemented by numerical simulation techniques that substitute expensive experiments. The development of variation simulation methods allows engineers to check the current operation process and to elaborate the recommendations for its improvement. However, the number of important parameters to be varied generates enormous amount of input data sets, and the application of high performance computers is justified in this case. Task level parallelization leads to speeding up the computational process. The paper is devoted to the description of a specialized approach that combines the variation simulation and HPC for optimization of aircraft assembly process.
