Determination of 1,1-dimethylhydrazine in air using mass-sensitive piezoresonance sensors

摘要
Results of studying complexes of poly-[N-2-R-oxycarbonylethyl]ethyleneimines with copper(II) chloride (R = ethyl, n-butyl, and n-decyl) as sensing coatings of piezoresonance sensors for the determination of 1,1 -dimethylhydrazine vapors in air are presented. It was demonstrated that the adsorption of the test compound on all adsorbents is reversible. It was found that analytical parameters of sensors are largely determined by the nature of the radical in the eater group of the polymer ligand and the coordination unsaturation of the metal ion in the complex. The maximum sensitivity and hydrophobicity was attained using a complex with the ratio Ligand : Cu = 2 and R = n-decyl. The detection limit of a sensor with this coating is 0.15 mg/m(3).
