摘要
The application of Composite Smart Structure in aerospace has earn more attention, especially in the monitoring of the structure. In order to monitor the impact of the structure, a method for low-speed hammering identification is proposed which is based on EMD (Empirical Mode Decomposition) and distributed FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating sensor) network. Firstly, the shape and clamped bearer form of composite smart structure are analyzed to optimize the layout of fiber grating sensor network. Secondly, the random position of the structure is hammered with low-energy and the FBG sensor network is used to monitor the response signal of the hammering Then, the EMD is used to analyze the response signal which is acquired by each sensor of FBG network, and calculate the correlation between the original signal and each corresponding IMF component, and the IMF (Intrinsic Mode Function) component which has maximum correlation will be used as a characteristic component of the sensor; Finally, the impact area can be identified by comparing energy value of the characteristic component of each sensor. The research shows that this method can be realized among the low-impact area identification of composite smart structure in aerospace applications.
