Evaluation of discharge voltage in AC-PDP manufactured under the vacuum condition after MgO deposition

摘要
A new PDP manufacturing method in which processes, such as deposition of MgO, and sealing of front and rear plate, are carried out in succession under the vacuum condition is proposed During the process, MgO surface is expected to be kept clean. We have evaluated the firing voltage by using a 4-inch PDP test panel. The measured result shows that the firing voltage is stabilized in a brief time from the beginning of the measurement. The developed method is considerably effective for decreasing the aging process time.
