Discussion on Reasonable Spacing of Internal Bracing of the Super-long Steel Sheet Pile Cofferdam

摘要
For the super-long steel sheet pile cofferdam, the arrangement of internal bracing position of each layer in the cofferdam is very important. The reasonable arrangement of internal bracing can reduce the deformation of steel sheet pile and improve stress distribution, thus ensuring the safety of steel sheet pile cofferdam. At the same time, the reasonable arrangement of internal bracing can also save material and improve efficiency. This paper studies super-long steel sheet pile cofferdam of the deepwater foundation at Ying River Bridge. The four arrangement kinds of internal bracing are chosen. The fmite element model is established to analyze the deformation of the steel sheet pile and the stress of internal bracing. The reasonable spacing of internal bracing for super-long steel sheet pile cofferdam is studied.
