摘要
Glaucoma is one of the eye disease. In glaucoma optic nerve head is damaged, due to intra ocular pressure is increased and if it is not cured earlier then it can cause permanent vision loss. This paper represents algorithm for detection of glaucoma using Optic Cup to Disc Ratio. For this work we have used 2D median filter and Multi threshold methods. On high resolution colored retinal funds images, which are freely available. Messidore dataset which contains 1200 images and RIM-ONE database have 455 images. We have extracted the optic cup and optic disc. Then we have calculated its CDR. On the first 100 normal images from RIM-ONE database we got the 100% Normal and 0% Glaucomatous result. We got 67% Glaucomatous and 33% Normal images accuracy on 100 glaucoma and glaucoma suspicious images from the same database. And we got 68% Glaucomatous and 32% Normal images results from first 100 images from Messidore database.
