摘要
Single-phase-to-ground fault is the main fault type of power distribution system, and it is the biggest threat to power supply safety of power distribution system. Accurate and reliable section identification of single-phase-to-ground faults is still a technical difficulty. The current single-phase-to-ground line selection strategy can only accurately determine the fault feeder, but cannot be further accurate to the section, and cannot lay the foundation for rapid fault isolation and power restoration. Single-phase-to-ground traveling wave protection will lose its effect on zero-degree grounding faults. This paper analyses the characteristics of phase current variation at different locations on the distribution line before and after single-phase-to-ground fault and simulate the reliability of this feature. Therefor, this paper construct a single-phase-to-ground fault section identification schemes. This solution can greatly improve the reliability of power distribution lines.
